iRest Yoga Nidra​

Monthly Sunday Night Class

This class is great for beginners as well as experienced yoga and meditation practitioners. It’s truly a practice of self-inquiry, meeting you exactly where you are at.


Class will begin with a breath practice and gentle restorative poses to support and unwind the body. For the second half of our practice Megan will offer an iRest® Yoga Nidra meditation, with students relaxing in a supported supine position.
iRest Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation practice that helps us to deeply heal and restore as we recognize the unchanging peace within, despite the ever-changing circumstances life presents. Sleep issues, anxiety, depression, high stress, PTSD and chronic pain can all be addressed with the simple and proven practice of iRest. Dr. Richard Miller and associates have spent the last 30 years researching and observing this powerful mind-body approach to healing - weaving the ancient practice of yoga nidra with modern psychology to bring evidence-based healing to the modern human. Intro to iRest Yoga Nidra 

Take a dive into the study and practice of iRest® Yoga Nidra and learn how it can help you find resiliency within the ever-changing circumstances life presents.

Though this workshop we will learn and experience the basics of iRest. The philosophy will be introduced and practices involving breathing, basic yoga poses, and guided meditations will follow.

1 on 1 Co-meditation sessions 

A mindful healing session is a co-meditative experience, where clients are completely supported in welcoming and experiencing different layers of their humanness as well as pure Awareness. Megan uses a unique combination of iRest Yoga Nidra and Reiki to help you relax, turn your attention inward, and be present with your authentic self. You can come in with a specific issue to address, or see what comes up as the session progresses. Although this is not therapy, there can be a profound therapeutic effect from this work. Clients report feeling de-stressed, relaxed, having better sleep, increased awareness, having more emotional resiliency and increased energy. This technique has endless possibilities for healing, here are a few applications:

Please email Megan for more information or to schedule a session. Sessions are held in a private healing space in West Seattle or online through ZOOM, are 60 minutes long, and cost $75 for individuals. Couples sessions are $100. Sliding scale available, please don't hesitate to ask.
Private Class Info
Private classes have many benefits as they are tailored to the individual or group receiving instruction. If you have an injury, are intimidated by group classes, are preparing for birth, or are interested in private classes for any reason please reach out and we can set something up. Working privately allows us to communicate and work at a deeper level in a safe environment.

Generally I travel to your home and bring props with me, but I also have studio space available if you prefer. 

I currently offer 1-hour private sessions for individuals in West Seattle and Burien for $65. This includes a written class description and relevant drawings, or other materials depending on the class.
